Angela Scott was born in Tucson, Arizona, where she lived until she was eight years old and then moved to the bay area. After High School, she wanted to find a place to live that was outside of the hustle and bustle of the bay area and had a stronger sense of community. She found herself in Sonoma County where she knew she wanted to call home and where she would want to raise her family.
Her friendly work style was shaped by three major influences, her Italian great-grandmother, mom, and dad. As a child, her Italian great-grandmother taught her that anyone who came into her house and sat at her table would be treated like family. Love and kindness do not have a limit and her great-grandmother made everyone feel loved. This is where she decided that clients should be cared for and treated like family. Her Mom is ambitious and hardworking, being scouted by Wells Fargo straight out of the University of Arizona for her dream job. Angela saw first-hand that with hard work and focus, anything is possible. She found her love of real estate, hanging out on job sites with her dad, who is an architect.
One of Angela’s other passions is marketing. She first joined the Prosper Real Estate Team as their social media manager. She was able to put her creativity to good use because of the Prosper Team’s willingness to think outside of the box and create unique content. Although Angela is a full-time realtor now, she still enjoys the marketing side of real estate by using valuable marketing plans for her client’s listings.
Before entering the professional world of real estate, Angela first sought out a home for her and her family. Naturally, during the sale and purchase of her homes, she did not have a strong understanding of the process. It was both overwhelming and frustrating because she did not get the education from the professionals she needed. When helping her buyers she remembers those feelings she felt and takes great care in educating her clients throughout the process, so when they do buy or sell, they feel confident in the decision they are making.
Angela and her Santa Rosa native husband, Taylor Scott, have 3 outgoing, animated, and fun children: Nolan 12, Olivia 10, and Penelope (aka Peeps) 6. When Angela is not selling real estate, the Scotts are hosting neighborhood BBQs, singing along to their favorite Disney movies, putting on plays, and showing off their best dance moves. Angela’s singing voice is right up there with Ariel’s… you know, after Ursula takes it. The bottom line is, she believes in working hard but also playing hard with the ones you love most.
