The center of Cloverdale- the cobblestoned town plaza is the home of a weekly farmers market on Tuesdays in April through November from 3-6 pm. The market is a collaboration between local farmers, food purveyors, and craftspeople dedicated to building a vibrant and fun community market for everyone of all ages to enjoy. Another great option if you are looking for healthy, fresh & local ingredients is Dahlia & Sage Community Market. For more of a traditional grocery store experience- there is Ray’s Food Place and Grocery Outlet.Â

Cloverdale is home to an array of independently-owned shops that are perfectly fitting to browsing and shopping for gifts, home furnishings, apparel, and more! Estate on the Boulevard is a great lifestyle shop filled with men’s & women’s clothing, handbags, accessories, and more where you can find the perfect gift for a friend or loved one.

This lovely town is known for its burgeoning art community. Spend an hour or two at Cloverdale Arts Alliance, an art gallery that features paintings, ceramics, and crafts by 6 resident artists and their guests. Head out to the neighboring Dry Creek Valley to taste hand-crafted wines at Fritz Underground Winery and soak in the beautiful scenery. Be sure to make an appointment for the underground winery and cave tours where you can learn about the winery’s unique winemaking process. Head out to Cloverdale River Park for the day and walk along the paved trail along the Russian River. The park offers group picnic areas and a boat launch. There’s lots to do in this small unique town!
